) und ich Seoul erkundschaftet.
Yesterday Jonathan, Oscar (3dan from Spain, err Catalonia, sorry ) and me explored Seoul.

Die Sonne schien und gluecklicherweise war es nicht zu heiss. Mit der Metro fuhren wir nach Insa-dong, was ein beruehmtes Viertel in Seoul ist. Hier gibt es zahlreiche Geschaeften fuer Touristen, diverse Tempelanlagen, aber im Kontrast dazu auch moderne Architektur, Hochhaueser auf denen uebergrosse Flachbildschirme fuer Produkte aller Art werben.
The sun was shining and fortunately it wasn’t too hot. We took the Metro to Insa-dong, which is a famous part of Seoul. There are many shops for tourists, several temples, but in contrast you can find modern architecture, skyscrapers with huge flat screens on top.
Ja, die Leute haben Regenschirme, aber nicht weils regnet, sondern gegen die Sonne. Man sieht auch oft aeltere Damen mit ueberdimensionalen Baseball Cappys; damit wollen sie ihre Haut hell halten und auch schuetzen vor UV-Strahlen. Sieht jedoch etwas komisch aus.
Yes, although it is not raining, many people are using umbrellas to protect themselves against the sun rays. You can see that old women are also wearing oversized baseball caps, they want to keep their skin light and they also fear UV rays.
So, das ist fuers erste mal die urbane Seite dieses Trips. Fortsetzung folgt.
